Calculate the cost of an import from China

Calculate the total import costs:

1. First we need to calculate the tariff according to the HS code of the product.

2. Second we need to know the FOB value of our products. (What is FOB?)

3. Request the volume in cubic meters and the total weight of the merchandise. These data will help us to calculate the total costs of the import and to decide the most efficient transport.

4. Know which is the closest port of your supplier, and the port of destination.

Once we have the previously required data, we can now calculate the estimated total cost of importing a product from China.
